CLMM
CLMM: Swap & Pool
Overview
The Concentrated Liquidity AMM (CLMM) is a core Add-On in the HYPERMAX ecosystem, enabling real-time trading and liquidity provisioning for SmartFund tokens, HyperBonds, and stable assets. Inspired by Uniswap v3, CLMM brings price-efficient swaps and high-precision liquidity provisioning to the protocol.
It is composed of two tightly connected components:
Swap: For instant token trading
Pool: For liquidity providers to earn yield by allocating capital into active trading ranges
Together, they power distribution, accessibility, and capital efficiency for all HYPERMAX strategies.
Swap
A Swap allows users to exchange one token for another instantly using the CLMM. It eliminates the need for traditional order books by using onchain liquidity pools to determine prices and execute trades.
Pool
A liquidity pool is a smart contract that holds two assets—like a SmartFund token and a stablecoin—and facilitates trading between them. Liquidity providers (LPs) deposit tokens into these pools and earn a portion of the trading fees.
How CLMM Improves It
The HYPERMAX CLMM implements Concentrated Liquidity, where LPs can allocate capital within a custom price range. This maximizes capital efficiency and yields by focusing liquidity where trading is most active.
Key Advantages
Higher Earnings By narrowing your price range, you capture more trading fees relative to deployed capital.
Customizable Strategy LPs choose the range they believe the market will trade in, giving them control over risk and yield.
Improved Trade Execution More liquidity around the market price leads to tighter spreads and reduced slippage.
Fees
Each trade on CLMM incurs a small fee, which is paid to LPs based on their share of liquidity and proximity to the current price.
